Why Detailed Information is Important
Custom clothing projects vary widely in terms of cost, lead time, and production method. To provide the most accurate quote quickly and find the best solution for your specific needs, we ask for detailed information about your order.
Key Factors We Consider
- Product Type & Specifications
Different garments and materials have varying costs. For example, a standard T-shirt costs less than a high-end jacket. While blank products are listed on our website, these prices reflect bulk rates without customisation (printing or embroidery). To obtain a comprehensive quote for a bulk order, we need to know your exact requirements and quantities. - Order Quantity
The number of units significantly influences the price per item. A single print on a single product could cost as much as £9, while a bulk order may reduce that cost to under £1 per print. The same holds true for embroidery, where large-volume orders can yield major savings. Without knowing the quantity, precise estimation isn’t feasible. If you’re unsure about quantity, sharing your budget can help us maximise value. - Customisation Requirements
In most instances, we select the customisation process for your order, ensuring you get the most suitable and economical option – so you don’t have to become a print expert. However, if you have a specific preference (e.g., embroidery instead of print), please let us know. This will help us tailor your quote and production process accordingly. - Artwork & Design Complexity
Intricate or multicolour designs may require specialised production methods, impacting cost and lead times. Providing your artwork upfront ensures we can recommend the best options. Without the artwork any quote is very much a guess, as the price per print could be as high as £3.65 on a highly detailed print, or less than £1 on single-coloured simplistic designs. On larger volumes, this can make a huge difference to the total price. - Delivery Timeline
If you need your order quickly, let us know. Rush orders may have additional costs to meet your deadline.
Tips for Accurate Quotes
If you’re unsure about quantities, providing your budget helps us create options that maximize value without exceeding limits. For instance, quoting a high-end process for 50 items may only yield 30 items within a specific budget. By sharing your needs, we can find the best fit.
